Terms
Terms of service
Last updated 29 August 2026.
1 · These terms
These terms govern your use of The Half Call. By using the service you accept them.
2 · The service
The Half Call is a private workspace for planning and running a theatre production. We are not a publisher, distributor or licensor, and we supply no scripts.
3 · Your material
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You must hold the rights needed to upload it and to use it as you do. If a rights holder tells us material infringes, we may remove or suspend access to it.
4 · Your account
Keep your access secure. You are responsible for activity in your account and for the people you invite into it.
5 · Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, attack or disrupt it, or attempt to reach other customers’ data.
6 · Payment
Prices are shown on the pricing page. Subscriptions continue until you cancel; one-off purchases do not renew. A trial needs no card and never becomes a paid subscription on its own.
7 · Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Where a statutory right to cancel applies, it applies; if you ask for the service to start immediately, that may end it.
8 · Availability
We aim to keep the service running and take reasonable care to do so, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
9 · Automated output
Parts of the service generate drafts automatically. They may be wrong. Review them before you rely on them.
10 · Liability
Some things the law does not allow us to limit, and we do not try to. Beyond that, our liability is capped at what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11 · Ending
You may stop at any time. We may suspend or end access for a serious breach of these terms or for unpaid fees, and will normally tell you first.
12 · Changes
We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes.
13 · Law
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which we are established. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights given to you by the law where you live.
